Power Bands
Known as Power Bands, these silicone straps capture all the energy of the downstroke (powerstroke) and then immediately snap back, creating powerful propulsion that's much more efficient than other fins on the market and help divers save their energy.

Gear Shift
The Gear Shift gives the diver complete control of power under any condition. The diver can shift to one of three settings in order to choose the speed-to effort ratio, allowing him to go from cruising speed in tranquil waters, to a forceful thrust in strong currents. The Slingshot adjusts, quickly (and underwater), to the various circumstances that can occur.

Mid-foot Flex Joint
The blade attaches to the foot further back on the foot pocket rather than at the toes, alleviating pressure on the front of the foot and reducing strain on the ankle, while allowing all the power to transmit from the leg to the fin.

The Mikron is small in size, but big on performance, making it the ideal regulator for all divers. Weighing only 26 oz. (in the din valve version) and just 31 oz. (in the yoke valve version), Aqua Lung has raised the bar on regulator design.

With its compact dimensions and almost neutral buoyancy, the Mikron makes breathing underwater second nature with a balanced diaphragm in the first stage and a second stage that is pneumatically balanced to provide top performance.

We are pleased to announce that Aqua Lung will be making a cash donation to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research based upon the success of the Pearl i3. The donations will be used to fund research, treatment and education programs to fight and cure breast cancer – the most common cancer among women, other than skin cancer, and the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. Approximately 178,480 women in the United States will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2007 and about 40,460 will die from the disease this year. The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer some time during her life is about 1 in 8.

There is hope. Right now there are slightly over 2 million women living in the United States who have been treated for breast cancer and the death rates from the disease are going down. The decline is partly the result of finding the cancer earlier and improved treatment options from breast cancer research. *

Aqua Lung, the leader in SCUBA diving products, has introduced the Airsource 3, an innovative new breathable inflator sure to be embraced by discerning divers for its unparalleled performance and unique design elements.

Combining a high-performance, pneumatically balanced, second stage with a power inflator, the Airsource 3 eliminates the need for a traditional octopus so divers can effortlessly streamline their entire system. Unlike a traditional octopus that can drag in the sand or damage coral, the Airsource 3 is located in front of the diver to deliver life saving air in a moments notice.

The innovative Airsource 3 is directly plumbed to the air supply without the use of a traditional quick disconnect fitting. This allows better flow and better performance as a quick disconnect is a performance inhibitor.

When it is time to disassemble the scuba rig, the Airsource 3 detaches in the middle of the corrugated hose at the Trim Grip™. This allows the unit to be stored with the regulator.

The Trim Grip™ is a unique feature found halfway down the corrugated hose. It offers an alternative way to dump air from a BC while the Airsource 3 remains in the diver’s mouth.

In the rare event of a freeflow or an auto-inflate situation, the diver can stop the air flow to the Airsource 3 by way of a simple cut-off valve. This is much safer and easier than trying to disconnect the air supply underwater with gloved hands.
