Our corporate and manufacturing headquarters in Vista, CA. is seeking an energetic and motivated Repair and Customer Service Technician for our in-house repair department. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of fast paced customer service experience, preferably in a dive or water sport environment, excellent communication skills and multi-tasking ability.
Responsiblities include:
- Responding to customer inquiries on the telephone, by mail, email and in person. - Communicating with customers to help them understand how to use the product properly. - Handling customer requests and ordering replacement parts. - Completing repairs and testing of equipment, to include dive computers and breathing apparatus. - Completing, maintaining and processing pertinent paperwork and records. - Supporting department manager in teaching repair training courses.
Ideal candidate will have the ability to read and understand part schematics and repair manuals. Must be computer literate and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Diving certification a plus.
