We are disappointed to announce the Join the Movement online voting has been compromised.  We have found significant evidence of vote tampering occurring on or about January 4th which forced us to shut down the voting process on January 8th.  It is unfortunate that this happened and that it caused us to take action.
 
But we must move on... To give all the contestants a fair shot at winning the grand prize, we have decided to remove the online voting option and let the decision be made by unbiased judges...our valued authorized Aqua Lung dealers. With over 600 dive stores that represent the best diving has to offer, we feel they are well qualified to choose the best and most deserving winner.
 
So beginning Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, our dealers will have until Feb 19 to cast their votes.  The entry with the highest percentage of votes will be declared the winner.

I've been fortunate enough to grow up in the sport of scuba diving. Now I pass my passion for diving on to others. My father would tell you I've been through countless sets of fins in my day. There is no doubt that I'm a gadget freak. But, these Slingshots are no gadget, they are the COOLEST set of fins I've ever had. Whether poking around on the surface with a snorkel, or pushing all of my "toys" through the water on a tech dive, I love these fins.

Jumping overboard holding 40lbs of anchor chain and hopefully landing on the USS Oriskany 90ft below the surface is a daily task for me.  With strong currents and no visible landmarks, I need an efficient fin that is not only comfortable, but has the strength to carry me and the anchor chain quickly to my  target.  My Slingshots perform exceptional every time!  I don't just love my Slingshots, I NEED them!!  Thanks Aqua Lung, for making my job safer and easier.
